Is vaping better for me than smoking?

Although we aren't able to give out any health advice, we can tell you that we all feel much better now that we've made the switch. The royal college of physicians in the UK, along with Public Health England recently published a report stating that vaping is at least 95% safer than smoking.

Why does my coil taste burnt?

The life of a coil varies from coil to coil, but on average, a coil should last at least 3-10 days. If you've got a coil that has burnt out prematurely, it could be for any of these reasons;

  • Coil not primed correctly - When inserting a fresh coil, you must make sure to prime it. Make sure you put at least 5-10 drops directly into the cotton of the coil. Once you have done this, close your tank and fill it up. To be sure it's fully saturated you can either take some "dry pulls"(vaping your device without activating it), or let it sit for 5 minutes. Once you have the coil fully saturated, start your power low, and work it up to where you are comfortable. If it starts tasting burnt as you increase the power, lower it again and vape on it at the lower power a little while before trying to increase again.

  • Pick the right E-Liquid! One of the first questions you'll be asked if your coil has burnt out is "What flavor are you vaping?". Why? Because as a general rule, the sweeter the flavor, the harder it is on coils. Make sure to remember that when you are sampling.

  • Over use - Make sure you're not just vaping away on your tank when it's run out of E-Liquid! Keep an eye on your liquid levels. If they get low, you run the risk of burning out your coil. You also have to remember that it takes a bit of time for E-Liquid to soak through from your tank into your coil. So if you are vaping back to back, you may end up burning out the coil as it won't have enough time to saturate between puffs.

  • That one "bad hit" you had yesterday - We've all done it: you go to take a nice, relaxing vape not realizing you've accidently turned the power up to 200 watts. If you do this, you could actually end up singing the cotton so that it always has a slightly bad taste to it. Avoid this by always locking your device when you're not using it!

Do you make E-Liquid in-store?

No, we don't make anything in-store. We believe E-Liquid should be manufactured in a controlled environment. We make sure that all the E-Liquid available in our stores is manufactured in a lab in the good ol' US of A.

How do I keep my batteries safe?

Most vape batteries are Lithium batteries. These need to be kept safe and treated with care. Batteries should never have any visible damage. They should also never be kept in places with extreme cold or heat. Make sure to always carry them in a safe, suitable container, and never leave them loose in your pocket or purse, etc. We provide all battery sales with plastic carrying cases, but if you need an extra one, we have you covered!

How old do I have to be to purchase vape products?

On September 1, 2019, the legal age for purchasing tobacco/vape products was raised from 18 to 21. We I.D. any person who appears to be under the age of 30, so please always have your I.D. available for every visit.
